Creating cusom fabric hoods

I would really like to know how to do this, because I have been trying and failing for a while now.
I know there was a template at classic castle, but I don't know hoe to put it together.
Can somebody help me with my dilema?

I think the idea was to get any one who stumbles upon the old site redirected here. The eventual idea was to eliminate the old site all together once the mental wealth was transferred.

Most of the articles and info should be here by now. Unfortunately the transference is taking longer than expected.

you are allowed to ask for members e-mail, but it it is better kept for sending files that cannot be put on the internet, sudch as fiels for LSW the game.
Your hood template is really good though and it does not require any glue.

I have a cape with a hood i just made after experimenting for hours. unfortunately i cant post it but if you PM your email i can give anyone who asks a copy of the template. it looks fine but if you use paper it doesnt work quite as well so i sugest fabric.

I finally got around to taking a bunch of pix, and here is my first (and only so far) successful attempt at the hood.

this is the hood i will be using in my mirkwood archer custom, and i like the way it turned out!

i used the template found on classic castle, but heavily modified so it could work.

- Remember, you can change the image size in the picture posting thingy- Sticks

unknown artist uses a different template. currently believe he is the only one with it. i suggest patientce until UAS is online. other than that, this template is a pretty cool design. i came really close yesterday to making it work, and i'm planning on trying it again today.

ok i will tr to make a paper one but you put the hole in the middle go on the neck then take the 2 holes ferthest from the neck hole and put the arms trough them then put the other two on the arms and snap the arms on it sould work i will be back later

 

yea that dosent help much but it may start you in the right direction also if you need patterns google it i found tones that would work but it requires sewing and i cant sew too well

oh, i under stand yours ufo! the side notes are a little hard to read, but they make sense. his template is just for a hood that sits on his back, not for use on head i believe. i may make a template like that myself, and try it! nice job!
