Decal paper help

I have been searching for days on what kind of paper to but for a sticker decal not a waterslide one but I was wondering what kind of paper I need and where to buy it (a link would be most appreciated) I have heard that Avery label sheets make it hard to put a helmet or hat on your minifig.  Thanks in advance!
