Republic Commando Renderings

Well, having drawn the decals, I decided to follow Morgan19's lead and make "virtual" figs to test out the decals. These though, are complete DrawPlus renderings of the Republic Commandos, not actual figures, which is why it's in this forum. It's an idea, a design, and a WIP. So I got all of them in! Super.

I've been wondering about posting a decal tutorial, but I've never gotten around to doing it. Considering though, that the current DrawPlus tutorial isn't very thorough and many people have said that they find DrawPlus too complicated, I think I'll give it a go.

And yep, a big thumbs up for Ramus! Without MCN I'd be lost in the Minifig Customization world.

These are very cool, awesome dude! You shouldhave used Corel I tell you. Post a tutorial on how to do decals.

Yeah guys sorry for coming late to the party. I haven't been posting because the website has been giving some problems like not letting me access basic parts of the site that we all are able to access. So yes, I've been watching but I haven't been getting into the action for the most part. BTW Ramus, thanks a lot for what you've done for MCN, but I hope everything will be fine and running properly soon for all of us to enjoy!

Dude, those look awesome! Very nice drawing skills, none of my profile drawings ever look this cool. Keep up the good work, I'd love to see these fellows completed.

I must agree, the renderings are top notch. Ramus sent me a minifig template that I would most happily post here for you use.

I've technically got my own, but post it anyway. Maybe it'll be better, and maybe someone else can use it, you never know.

Nice art skills you have there. But if you used Corel Draw... well the'd be even sweeter.
