Cutting help please

Hi,
I am trying to modify small lego pieces by cutting certain parts off. I heard that a X-Acto knife and #11 blades should do the job, but when I used the knife, it doesn't cut very well on legos (in other words...it'll take forever to cut at the rate im going). Maybe I'm missing something...I don't know...What can I do to cut the legos?  Also I tried heating the blade, but it doesn't help either...

It may not be very professional, but I just use a pair of strong small scissors. You have to be able to hold them down for a bit until they cut through, but it's worth it for a nice, clean cut.

Best thing to use is a dremel but if you can't afford that try garden sheers. Just be careful because you can get hurt pretty bad.
